Lets see, since last A few things have happened.
I got my tire, its a 200/55/R17. I got the tire mounted which was a major pain. These bigger tires (plus its radial) are sort of low profile like and take quite a bit to get on the rim. The first bead just pushed on (was all soap watered up) but the top bead was a major pain! Anyway I got it on there after quite a bit of struggling.
I lost my ARD magneto auction, but am still wanting/looking for one. Since I lost it I said to heck with it and went ahead and bought the 2 ton ho fender last week. It came in and I set it on the bike as sort of a mock up. I love the look. Will look even better once it's painted.
I am now in the process of trying to get a sprotor setup for my wheel which is a bit more involved than I thought it would be. I think I should have enough room for the tire and such by using the sprotor setup. I will need to get an offset sprocket for the front of my engine for clearance.
I also found a donor bike around here, its $300 and I have to still look at it but it's supposed to be in good shape. I am glad I finally found an engine.

Well, got to look at the bike. It's a 78 Supersport, the one with the black engine. It turns over and has a PERFECT seat from what I saw so I may be able
to sell it to get some $ back. Also comes with a trunk, hard bags and fairing. They are off the bike but come with it.
Anyways, it looks pretty complete and the engine turns over. Plus the guy said if it didn't run/shift right he would give me my money back. Can't really beat that!
