Update 03/05/2008

Got my handlebars and the handlebar adapter. They look awesome. I also got my turn signal/tail lights in. I wrote down all the stuff I still need for the
chop and it is 26 things in all. This includes everything from a chain to switches/etc. There are a few things holding me up as usual. Now I can start in on
handlebar switches, levers, and grips, throttle and such.

Lets see, since last A few things have happened.

I got my tire, its a 200/55/R17. I got the tire mounted which was a major pain. These bigger tires (plus its radial) are sort of low profile like and take
quite a bit to get on the rim. The first bead just pushed on (was all soap watered up) but the top bead was a major pain! Anyway I got it on there after quite
a bit of struggling.
I lost my ARD magneto auction, but am still wanting/looking for one. Since I lost it I said...

Well... not much to update. Got my rear tire on order, still waiting on that. It's gonna be huge. I went to a local MC dealer and looked in their junk
tire bin (when they were closed of course ha ha) and only found a 180. It was MASSIVE, can't imagine a 200. I do know a 200 is the biggest I would EVER
go for a chopper. I am not a huge fan of wide rear tires and such, but this ought to fit the bike.

I have just about decided on a west coast choppers 2 ton ho rear...

January 24, 2008
A little intro I suppose is in order. This will be my blog for my new chopper. This is my second chopper build. At this point I have a roller, with the
incorrect wheels on it. I bought the roller on ebay. It has a custom made frame, came with custom springers (I am thinking about selling these), and custom
handlebars. I bought a ultima solo seat and bolted that on. I have found it is WAY cheaper to buy a...
